ABOUT THE PODCAST

Books in the Wild's mission is to provide entertaining yet informative content for professional book workers, students and newcomers, hobbyists and casual listeners - a little something for everyone with a curiosity and appreciation for the book.

We cover topics such as book arts, book history, letterpress printing, bookbinding, and artists' books. Books in the Wild episodes are released twice monthly (or at least, trying very hard to).

We welcome collaborations and contributions from the book arts community, so if you have any ideas or projects you'd like to propose or if you just want to help out on something that we already have in the works, please do not hesitate to contact us.

ABOUT THE CREATOR

Hi! I'm Keri Miki-Lani Schroeder. I write, host, and produce Books in the Wild. I am a book artist and illustrator based out of the Bay Area, California. I have an MFA in Book Art and Creative Writing, and a BA in Art History. As you can imagine, this means lots of loner time, so I try to weave together all of my loves into this podcast = books, art, book arts, and art books.

My books and artwork can be seen at Coyote Bones Press if you're interested, and I also sell work through my Etsy Shop.
